The airline’s AI Destination Search tool, akin to a ChatGPT for travel, offers personalized travel suggestions. Starting next month, this tool will gain a new visual dimension as it integrates with Google Maps, providing an immersive user experience.

Another creative endeavor highlighted at SXSW was the “Vibe Quiz,” designed to recommend travel destinations based on a user’s personal preferences and mood.

Despite the promise AI holds, Jain cautioned against potential challenges, including issues related to digital travel assistants and AI agent interactions with their system. These emerging complications warrant careful consideration as AI becomes a staple in customer and operational interactions.
