Where Legends Meet Charity
In-N-Out Burger’s fifth annual Rock 2 Freedom Benefit Concert at the Hollywood Palladium became a beacon of hope and recovery. Offering more than just entertainment, it was a heartfelt initiative supporting The Slave 2 Nothing Foundation’s mission against addiction and human trafficking.
A Cause Close to Heart
Founded by Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson in memory of her father, The Slave 2 Nothing Foundation is dedicated to launching individuals into a life free from the bonds of substance abuse and human trafficking. Partnering with local organizations, the foundation has granted $9 million since 2016 to effect change in the lives of the afflicted and their families. According to LAmag, this is a testament to their unwavering commitment.
A Night to Remember
The concert coincided with National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, and attendees were treated to a unique blend of performances from eclectic bands like Sitting on Saturn, and In-N-Out’s very own .48 Special. Known for their dynamic energy and community-driven performances, the acts engaged the audience with a mix of original tracks and iconic covers, setting an electrifying tone for the evening.
Fireworks and Fundraising
Highlights of the night included a spectacular live auction featuring exclusive experiences such as a luxury suite at an NFL game and exotic travel packages which amassed significant funding for the charity. The winner of the coveted In-N-Out Cookout Truck experience wasn’t just lucky; their contribution will echo in the lives of many. With a promise that all proceeds go directly towards the cause, the impact was magnified by the matching donations from an anonymous benefactor and In-N-Out’s corporate matching program.
Chart-Topping Closure
Headlining the night were rock legends Papa Roach, whose electrifying performance underscored their commitment to mental health advocacy. The band’s moving collaboration with Toby Morse of H20 was a standout moment that united fans and highlighted the theme of recovery and resilience in adversity.
Echoing Beyond the Concert Halls
As the melodies lingered, the message was clear—community, music, and compassion can move mountains. Rock 2 Freedom wasn’t just a concert; it was a clarion call to action that dreams of a world freer and stronger in solidarity.
Let’s continue the conversation, spread awareness, and support efforts to bring freedom to those in chains.
Endorsed by passion, powered by community—Rock 2 Freedom is the harmony of hope.
